Founder Rainer Surkow comes from the field of management consulting for technical innovations. His experience has shown that there are really many good ideas that are economical and make the world a better place. Many of them fail simply because their business processes aren’t performing as well as they could be, which slows down scaling and growth.
This is where Sustainable Seeds comes in. We provide a Company Builder, a combination of both software and process structuring that covers accounting and management, logistics, communications, human resources, and production. Additional building blocks, such as employee engagement models, are also available.
We at sustainable seeds have a clear vision, and proven tools to help us achieve our goals, but we are still doing many things for the first time – giving you the freedom to help build our future and contribute to the vision.
Yes, we are starting from the ground up, so the best development opportunities will naturally coincide with the company’s growth. However, we have a solid network of existing companies behind us, so the risks are manageable.
We bring together more than 40 years of experience in founding and building companies. The main focus is on software development, digitalization, technical innovations and scaling consulting. Commitment to the environment and social issues are our top priority.
We know the struggles, especially in COVID times, to balance childcare and professional life in such a way that neither one comes up short nor you constantly go beyond your personal limit – therefore we support flexible working hours.
Currently, we work exclusively remotely from several cities in Germany and Europe. With plans to open an office in Berlin in the nearer future, conversations at the coffee machine or Friday afternoon beers are soon to follow.
Small companies in particular thrive on the people behind them. Since we are now starting to bring other comrades-in-arms on board in addition to the founding team, your motivation is particularly important to us, in addition to your professional qualifications. What drives you? What is your goal? And what do you do in your spare time?
